The World Tonight of ABS-CBN did the same theme music from 1986 to 1988 and the opening intro goes:
"The World Tonight, here's Angelo Castro, Jr."
Angelo Castro, Jr.: "Good evening, i'm Angelo Castro, Jr., here now the news."
The theme music: "Cool Hand Luke: The Tar Sequence as opening and closing theme from July 16, 1986 to February 17, 1989.
